Loudest Applause for our students from ‘Teach for Green’ - Delhi

   Teach for Green is a voluntary social organization based at New Delhi, campaigns the need and advantages of non-conventional energy resources, in India.

    

        Indiscriminate exploitation of conventional energy sources has been leading to depletion of fuels and posing a great threat to human survival.  Above it, the pollution levels have raised so high that the global warming has already started showing its evil effects.  At this juncture the only alternate and assured energy resource is the Solar energy.

        In this context, the 'Teach for Green' has organized a two day workshop for the students of vocational training at our campus.  During the two days, the trainers have demonstrated many practical applications of solar gadgets.  Later, the participants, to the amazement of the resource persons, have created so many no-cost (not even  low-cost) solar gadgets, using waste material, abandoned electrical and electronic goods etc.

        The workshop was also participated by the youth of the village.  In a way, the event has served a mini-skill (India) Development initiative.
