Health Cards for the Agricultural Fields Distributed to Farmers:

       In an another modest approach towards serving the farming community, the KVK, Sagroli moved a step forward by promoting ‘Health Cards’ for the agricultural lands.  Though the campaign is launched by the Govt. of India, the KVK has played catalyst in reaching out the grass root level at is jurisdiction.

        Accordingly, the ‘Health Cards’ were distributed in 30 villages covering 1693 farmers in Biloli Taluka and in 16 villages (1251 farmers) of Dharmabad taluka.  The ‘Health Cards’ define precisely all the factors associated with the respective soil-sample, including the nature, fertility, deficiencies and the crops suitable for the season etc.

      

  Farmers Speaks –

        “We used to rely upon the dealers blindly and spend thousands of rupees on the fertilizers.  We are, after all, lay men and helplessly spend on dumping more and more chemicals in our fields rendering our fields and ourselves infertile and sapless.  Now that we know everything about our soil and its needs, we won’t be cheated.  Thanks to ‘Health Cards’ and thanks to ‘KVK Sagroli’
